This is just a random idea I came up with, I've always liked the idea of vanguard Ike (though Lord is still the coolest) so I decided to whip up a vanguard version of link. It's not magic armor link (as you would know if I colored it which I will later probably) and it's not fierce deity link. It's simply Link decked out to fight a tougher ganon.
Well now that you've scanned it, you should try to color it traditionally. :3 That's what I do.... then I can play with my original without having to worry too much about ruining it since I then have it scanned and it's safe. XD
(markers and watercolors are the most fun for coloring and they turn out nicer on a scanner, btw)
hmm I may have to try markers. Normally this is my MO
1. draw with pencil and paper 2. trace in ink onto fresh piece of paper 3. color with prismacolor pencils.
the pencils have gotten annoying though cus of how you have to press hard to get nice rich colors that are just diluded when you scan them. Thats why I've been wantign a wacom, although the suggestion of markers intrigues me... what kind do you use? lol I think all I have are crayola washables.
GAH! thats as much as a small car! and more than my laptop... there's no way I could afford that. D: Right now I'm aiming for the Wacom Intuos 6x8. I've found one in columbus going for 220. I'm even having trouble budgeting for just that. I will have it soon though, before or around spring.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
